New online system coming soon
We are adding a new system for ordering repeat prescriptions. The old system will soon be phased out so please register for the new system as soon as possible. The new system offers integration with our clinical system for both prescription requests and on line appointment booking. To register for this service please bring a form of photo ID to the surgery and speak to a member of staff who will be able to help you
Repeat Prescriptions
Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in the following ways:
- In person - use the tear off slip attached to you last prescription, carefully tick the items required and drop it in to the surgery.
- By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope and we'll post it back to you.
- By E-Mail - If you use E-mail you can send us a request using the address tccg.summerhillscripts@nhs.net - Make sure to include your name and address.
- Online - follow the link at the top of this page to complete a simple registration.
Alternatively, several of the local pharmacies offer a collection service, whereby they will collect your prescription from us and dispense your medication ready for you to collect from the pharmacy.
If you have more than one repeat prescription try and request all of your items together.
If one or more of your medications are not visible when ordering please request them via the text box at the bottom of the screen. The medication may need reauthorising within our clinical system and so will not appear for reorder.
For patient safety, requests for repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone or via fax.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow Three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
