Community Midwives

Our midwife holds a clinic at the surgery on Wednesday mornings and works closely with the doctors to provide antenatal and postnatal care. Appointments can be made via reception or she can be contacted via Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital on (01843) 225544.  Please ask for 'Lavender Team.'

Community Nurses

We are proud of our strong team of district nurses who work with us in the community. You can contact them via the patient line on 03007900386 during office hours.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Attached Staff

We have a physiotherapist who offers appointments between 16:30 – 18:00 hours, Monday - Friday. Referrals are made by the doctors.

The counsellors work with the practice three days a week and are available to help with bereavement, anxiety/stress management, adolescent problems, family and relationship problems, mild depressive and phobic symptoms together with mild eating and addiction problems. They can also discuss sexual and sexuality issues. The counsellors are able to see patients over the age of 16; all referrals are made through the doctors.
